There is a beautiful Buddhist temple situated at a distance of 10 km from Darjeeling.  This temple is built in white stone and circular form like the Japanese temple.

Ropeway

Darjeeling ropeway 3 km long route. You travel from 7000 ft to 800 ft in 45 min ride. This ropeway of Darjeeling is the oldest ropeway system in India.

Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park

Located at a distance of 3 km from Darjeeling, which is spread over a range of about 70 acres. It is considered to be the home of many of the world’s rares like its Red Panda, Siberian Tiger, and Snow Leopard.

Many tourists especially come to see these animals in Darjeeling. The main purpose of the construction of this zoo is for the conservation of these animals.

Tiger Hill

Tiger hill is situated at an altitude of about 28 meters above sea level, this place is located at a distance of 14 kilometers from Darjeeling, standing here, one can see a spectacular view of the sunrise, along with it you can see the Kangchenjunga mountain range and the world’s highest mountain Mount Everest.

Darjeeling Himalayan Railway

This 78 km journey from Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling was started in the 18th century, which is today the only mini railway facility in India, as well as this journey, is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site,

By Train

If you want to come to Darjeeling by train, then the nearest railway station is Jalpaiguri, the distance from Jalpaiguri to Darjeeling is 75 km. To come to Darjeeling from Jalpaiguri railway station,

 you have three options:

  1. taxi

 you can come to Darjeeling by taxi, its fare will be 3000 to 3500

  1. Sharing Taxi

 In Sharing Taxi, you will have to pay 300 to rs.350.

  1. Bus, the distance from the railway station to the bus station is 2 kilometers, from Jalpaiguri bus station to Darjeeling there are frequent buses and its fare is rs.

By Air

If you want to come to Darjeeling by air then the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport, the distance of Darjeeling from Bagdogra Airport is 70 km and you can complete the distance of 70 km by bus or taxi.
