Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who ruled the state of Jaipur from 1699 to 1747. Jaipur was the first planned city of India, the kings showed great interest in its construction.

The construction of the city of Jaipur began in 1727 with a strategy. The Prince of Wales was welcomed in Jaipur in 1878 and Jaipur was painted pink to welcome him. Since then Jaipur is called the Pink City.

Jal Mahal in Jaipur


Jal Mahal situated in the womb of the Aravalli Mountains is in the middle of Manasagar Lake, due to being in the middle of the lake, it is also called iBall. This palace was built by Sawai Jai Singh, what did which the king uses to spend his special time with his queen.

4 stories of this 5-story palace remain submerged in water. In the moonlit night, the beauty of this palace is worth seeing. On the day of Makar Sankranti, International Kite Festival takes place everywhere.

It is strictly forbidden to go inside this palace, but the person who gives donations gets permission to go inside.

Hawa Mahal in Jaipur


Hawa Mahal was designed by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh Ji, it is the pride of Jaipur, people come from far and wide to see this magnificent palace, it was intended that the royal ladies of the palace could see the festival going out, it was a mask for them.

This royal residence is totally made of red and pink stones. It is a five-story building with 953 windows.

This palace built without any base is the highest palace in the world, this palace has no door from the front, if you want to go to the palace, then you have to go to the palace from behind.

Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur


This fort, built for the security purpose of Jaipur, was built by Raja Jaisingh II. This fort was once the capital of Amar. In this fort, one can see statues of many celebrities like APJ Abdul Kalam, Sachin Tendulkar, and Amitabh Bachchan.

Apart from this, you can also see the Diwan-e-Aam, Sheesh Mahal present in this palace, the first name of this fort was Sudarshan Garh, later the name of this fort was changed to Mahar Garh.

Albert Hall Museum in Jaipur


This museum located in Jaipur was built in the year 1887. This museum is famous for a collection of old things kept there. But this place is most famous for keeping  2300 years old Egpyt mummy. It has been more than 130 years since Egypt  Mummy was brought to this museum.

Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur


Jaigarh Fort is situated on the Chil Katila hill of Jaipur, which was built by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1726. The special thing about this fort is that it has the world’s largest cannon with wheels.

Chand Baori in Jaipur


Chand Baori is the world’s deepest stepwell. It was built by King Mihir Bhoj, who was also known as Chand, this 13-story stepwell is more than 100 feet deep, in which 3500 steps are present, there is also a tunnel in Chand Baori, whose total length is 17 kilometers.

On the lowest floor of Chand Baori, there are idols Ganeshji.


Birla Mandir in Jaipur


The Birla temple was built in 1988, the Maharaja gave land to the Birla family on a token of one rupee for the construction of this temple. This temple is also known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir.

This temple is built on the hill below Moti Dungri Fort. This temple is completely made of white marble.

Aamer Fort in Jaipur


Aamer Fort This fort is also known as Amber Fort. Spread over 4 square kilometers, this fort was built by the Meenas of Amir city and this fort is also recorded on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, here is the Sheesh Mahal, on which the first rays of the sun fall, the entire palace is illuminated.

It was named after Amba Mata, which is the goddess of the Meenas. There is also a beautiful flower here which is made of marble, whose artwork fascinates everyone.

There is also a 2 km long tunnel between Jaigarh and Aamir Fort.

City Palace in Jaipur


City Palace was built by Sawai Raja Jai Singh II. City Palace is located at a distance of 11 km from Jaipur. The City Palace is divided into seven separate departments.

In which the first is Biaggi Khana, in which many different types of buggies have been kept, the most special of which is the Victoria buggy which was given by the Prince of Wales as a gift to the Maharaja.

Apart from this, departments like Sabha Niwas, Pritam Niwas Chowk, Mubarak Mahal, Srilekha Nath, and 36 karkhane are included.

Jantar Mantar in Jaipur


Jantar Mantar This Observatory is also included on the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The best thing is that it is still in working condition. Among its instruments, the Virat Samrat Yantra is the world’s largest sun clock, also named in the Guinness Book of World Records.
