The Nearest Airport of Manali is Kullu Manali Airport in Bhuntar, the distance of Kullu from the airport is 10 km and the distance of Manali is 50 km.

Rohtang Pass

Rohtang Pass is situated 61 kilometers from Manali, this mountain pass connects the Kullu district to the Lahaul and Spiti district. Rohtang pass is one of the best tourist places in Manali.

Until Atal Tunnel was not formed, there was only one route, Rohtang Pass was the only way to enter Lahaul and Spiti.

When the whole of India is scorching in the heat, at that time you will get 6 feet of snow in Rohtang Pass.

Atal  tunnel

Atal Tunnel is around  29 km from Manali. The special feature of the Atal Tunnel is that it is the longest tunnel in the world, which is located 10000 feet above sea level.

The approximate length of the Atal Tunnel is around 9 km. And it collects Kullu District to Lahaul Spiti District.

Where earlier you used to take 5 to 6 hours to go to Lahaul Spiti, now you can complete the same in half an hour. The Atal Tunnel is a sample of great engineering and crossing it is a new experience in itself.

Baroad Parsha Waterfall

Baroad Parsha Waterfall named after the two villages around it. This waterfall is located 5 kilometers from Manali.

Hidimba Temple

Hidimba Temple is situated in a  half-hour walk from Manali  Mall Road. This temple was built by King Bahadur Singh of Kullu in 1553.

Hadimba Temple is  a temple  Mata Hadimba . It is one of the best beautiful temples of Himachal built in Pagoda style.

The Hidimba temple of Mata Hidimba meditated here after the end of the war in Mahabharata and came in its power form.

Since then the goddess is worshiped here as Shakti.
