RAJAJI NATIONAL PARK

Rajaji National Park is located in Uttarakhand, which is 24 kilometers from Haridwar and 18 kilometers from Rishikesh.

The park is named after the famous freedom fighter and the first Governor-General of India, the late Shri C. Gopal Acharya who was known as Rajaji.

Rajaji National Park is spread over an area of 820.42 square kilometers.

Rajaji National Park is spread over three districts Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, and Dehradun.

There are two tiger reserves in Uttarakhand, Rajaji National Park and Tiger Reserve is the second, Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve Nainital.

The fourth gate is Jhil Mil Jheel: Jhilmil Lake is also the important entry point of Rajaji National Park because reindeer are found here, which is nowhere else in Uttarakhand.

Closing Date of Rajaji National Park Tiger Reserve

Rajaji National Park Tiger Reserve remains closed from 15 June to 15 November.
