Rajaji National Park is located in Uttarakhand, which is 24 kilometers from Haridwar and 18 kilometers from Rishikesh.

The park is named after the famous freedom fighter and the first Governor-General of India, the late Shri C. Gopal Acharya who was known as Rajaji.

Rajaji National Park is spread over an area of 820.42 square kilometers.

Rajaji National Park Tiger Reserve remains closed from 15 June to 15 November.
